Philippineangels.com is unlike any other internet dating site. We check the birth certificates and photo Id of all the ladies before their profile is uploaded. We meet most of the girls in our office in Tacloban or on our tour of the islands where we meet women personally before they are published onto the site.

Why Filipina Women

There must be more shampoo and conditioner sold here per head of female population than anywhere else in the world. No, that is not a statement from Proctor and Gamble, it is a personal observation. Most girls here have long hair, some very long and they keep their beautiful black hair in pristine condition. A healthy diet of fresh fish and other seafood, home grown vegetables and rice help

promote a diet whichkeeps their bodies slim and when covered with a tanned olive skin, makes a very sexy and attractive lady.

Beauty pageants and competitions still flourish here and there is an “I must stay young, beautiful and sexy” culture amongst women. In recent years many attractive Filipina women have made it onto the covers of FHM and alike and have had success in international beauty competitions. But for many, the real attraction of the Filipina women is their personality and morality traits which make them desirable to western cultures. Ok, that’s the commercial over, but I firmly believe that there many traits which make a Filipino woman a wonderful choice for a first or second new wife.

Many women from the Philippines are nurses working in hospitals and care giving homes around the globe, admittedly to earn better income than they would expect to receive at home, but also I am convinced it is a natural trait from a caring and loving society. Once you begin to understand more about the culture in the Philippines, many of the other traits of the women become clearer, they are conscientious, hard working and totally devoted to morality and fidelity.

Life here can be a struggle sometimes, but these people are happy with their lot and have no care in the world about the latest designer labelled handbag, or about the latest Nike footwear to show off at the gym or to be seen in the latest wine bar. Many women here unlike my country folk in the UK, do not drink, do not smoke, do not have tattoos or body piercings and certainly do not use words and phrases not commonly found in an Oxford English dictionary. In the Philippines you are likely to find a simple living lady, satisfied with the simple pleasures in life and grateful for whatever she receives.

The Philippines, being a predominately Catholic state, divorce here is not recognised, a failed marriage has to be annulled. Consequently marriage is seen as a sacred ritual and for a woman to fall in love, it really does mean forever. An old and well used cliché I know, however in this instance it is a way of life. A woman who has been in a troubled relationship with or without children may well find herself in a very lonely position. Quite simply because her fellow countrymen, favour to marry a lady, who has not being in a previous relationship.

There is also a dubious myth amongst women here that gentlemen from faraway lands are more generously endowed than their native countrymen, well I have no researched statistical evidence on this topic to confirm or disprove, suffice to say, if some women want to believe that, then that is fine with me.

There is also a statistic which few are aware of; it is simply because women outnumber men by a ratio of up to five to one. You can see evidence of this in various locations and predominantly in Misamis Occidental. Even more surprising in such locations, is that there are also many men who are gay, well each to their own is what I say, good news for philippineangels.com!

When you have been here, even after just a few days, one can sense a real romantic and harmonious feel to society. The peaceful ambience and atmosphere of calmness, gives a real community feel to the place. I can recall evenings relaxing in a park at 8pm, with the melodic sound of children’s laughter, inevitable karaoke and the inimitable harmony of couples and groups of people in casual conversation. The karaoke bars blurt out the romantic love songs from yester year and even on the radio, Love FM as its name suggests play love songs, from before even I can remember. With all the hustle and bustle of busy streets, I have never once heard a horn sounded in anger. Road rage just is not in the vocabulary here. Sure there will be quarrels and disputes, but one gets the feeling of calm and social integration which is surely lacking in many western countries.

As English is the second language here, most people can speak and write a little English even if at first they are shy of using their skills, when you first arrive though, please remember to speak slowly so that people have a chance to get accustomed to your accent. Of course if you learn a few words and phrases of Tagalog, then you will impress many with the desire to integrate with the people here.

As with women everywhere they love to be made to feel special and when you visit, bringing chocolate, candies and perfumes is a must do. On the ladies profiles you will also see an option to send flowers, they are not so plentiful here as you may imagine and so they make a wonderful surprise gift or are a fabulous way to break the ice with a gorgeous lady that has taken your eye.

There is also a zealous desire and an ethos to integrate into other cultures. With the ever expanding coverage of television media with their distribution of western shows and news programmes, there is becoming an increasing demand to discover more about life overseas. The Philippines are going through dynamic changes both economically and socially, now foreign travel has become affordable to a
new generation of nomadic explorer. The access to many television stations transmitting programmes made in the west, is creating a great curiosity about western life with all its fascinating and intriguing facets of a developed civilisation. The perception and observations of the new travellers with their new found experiences have begun a resurgence and desire for change. This leads to a high demand in people who wish to integrate into new areas of cultures in USA and Europe, not to mention down under Australia. Women especially see this as an opportunity to develop and raise a family, bridging the gap between the two spectrums of societies

We have tried to be light hearted and to give a neutral attitude and opinion to the women. When you come here, we want you to feel confident and appreciative of the people here and experience for yourself the way of life in the Philippines. Please remember

that even if you want to bring the lady to your own country, depending on your countries immigration law, you WILL have to come here and prove your correspondence, before you can apply for a visa. So when you arrive, it is best to be aware of as much culture as possible and above all, enjoy your stay and time with your new lady. Maybe like me, you will decide to settle here too. To get

married here, you need to have your divorce papers of course if applicable, otherwise your birth certificate and passport will suffice to get you through the formal ceremony. (You will need to check these details, with the Philippine immigration department).
